Coastal View is looking for two full-time Healthcare Assistants to join the team!

Experienced and inexperienced Healthcare Assistants are welcome to apply.

About the role – Mo te turanga
Providing best practice individualised healthcare to Resthome and Hospital level residents.
Familiarisation with care plans and provide care in accordance with individual resident notes.
Ensuring own knowledge and work represents education received in conjunction with policies and procedures.
Ensure changes in residents' conditions are accurately identified, documented, and reported to senior staff.
Participate in annual review of care competencies to ensure best practice is maintained.
Documenting progress of each resident's progress in a comprehensive and timely manner including utilising internal Qestral developed clinical software.
Participate in Infection Prevention and Control strategies including ensuring the use of personal protective equipment.
Participation in Health and Safety drills, training, and safety techniques.
There are two full-time positions available.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
