Health & Safety Officer - Marine Deals Ltd.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will drive, support, and promote Health and Safety across all parts of the business, with a particular focus on creating a safe working environment for our team. While direct experience in the Warehousing or Logistics industries is not essential, a high level of Health and Safety knowledge and experience is extremely important. We value attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum of 3 years direct experience in Health & Safety or a recognized Health and Safety qualification/degree.Strong problem-solving skills, with a logical, practical, and hands-on approach.Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.Fast learner, self-motivated, efficient, and thrives under pressure.Experience in coaching and teaching young people.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.Tasks & Responsibilities:Build a safety-focused culture, emphasizing that Safety is First.Work alongside all management staff to provide trusted advice on health and safety matters.Lead investigations into Health and Safety incidents.Handle H&S administration duties, ensuring all required documentation, policies, and registers meet legislative requirements.Mentor and provide guidance to all staff.This is a full-time role with an hourly rate of $30.About Marine Deals:Based in Avondale, Auckland, Marine Deals Ltd. is a dynamic and growing business offering fantastic deals both online and through our retail store for fishing and marine gear.Apply Now:If you're enthusiastic and believe you'd excel in this role, please click "Apply" to upload your CV or contact us at (email protected).
