The Job
We are looking for a H&S Advisor to help maintain our positive safety culture at Breen. This is a hands-on role that involves providing on-site training and support to construction site staff to ensure that they are competent, capable, and able to carry out their health and safety responsibilities.
Bringing a collaborative approach, you will work closely with managers to support them in understanding their H&S responsibilities. The role also supports the H&S Manager with communicating operational safety requirements, incident responses, monitoring remedial actions and control measures, and general reporting and administration.
About you
Ability to build and maintain good working relationships
Construction industry experience
Hold a H&S qualification or equivalent experience
Capable of training others
Enthusiastic problem solver
Team player who is also capable of working independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
Hold a current NZ driver's license, as site visits are an integral requirement of this role
