Culham Engineering is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to manage the Health and Safety aspects for our Auckland Region.Reporting to the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, this position is responsible for helping ensure employees meet the legal and compliance requirements associated with the Health & Safety regulations. This role is a support function to the HSE Manager to ensure the ongoing Health and Safety capability functions by collaboratively engaging with employees to encourage and champion a strong Health and Safety culture.What you bring to the role:National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Level 4) – minimumKnowledge of ISO 45001 Management System and Environment System would be an advantageWorking knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act (2015)Heavy Engineering or construction Industry experience would be an advantagePolicy and procedure development and documentation skillsHigh levels of initiative and energy with solutions driven approach.Proven experience with engaging cross functional teamsExcellent interpersonal and influencing skillsWhy us?We offer diverse, challenging work on some of New Zealand's biggest projectsGreat team and collaborative work environment, that is solution focusedGrowth, we have seen rapid growth and want to share that with you and see you progressWho are we?Established in 1958, Culham Engineering has over 60 years' experience in heavy engineering, petrochemical, industrial maintenance and the construction industry with branches located in Whangarei, Tokoroa, Kawerau and Auckland. Our fabrication facility in Whangarei, is one of New Zealand's largest.
