We are seeking a Physical Education & Health Specialist Teacher to join our team at Campion College from the start of the 2025 school year.
Experience in teaching Y11–13 Physical Education and Health is required. The position would also involve the teaching of some Religious Education and Wellbeing.
Campion College is a highly successful, future-focused, innovative, and well-resourced Y7–13 integrated Catholic co-educational college with a maximum roll of 512. Fostering student agency and interest, together with integrating cross-curricular and real-world learning, are key components to teaching and learning at Campion. Learning occurs in newly built, modern, and innovative learning environments. Collaborative teaching and learning incorporate the effective use of ICT within the curriculum. All students bring a Chromebook (or laptop) to school where digital learning and assessment are the norm.
Where possible, Physical Education classes utilize the great natural outdoor facilities close by, including amazing beaches, mountain bike park, skate park, and BMX track, to name a few. Outdoor education camps encompass opportunities both within the region and the wider North Island.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting students in their academic and personal development.
