Are you passionate about making a difference in health and well-being? We are seeking a dedicated Health Coach to join our vibrant primary care practice in Hastings. We are committed to health equity and improving Maori Health through a collaborative, holistic approach. About Us: Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a whanau focused, kaupapa Maori values based, health and social services organisation providing professional health services to our local Hawkes Bay community and wider Kahungunu rohe from Wairoa to Wairarapa. Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully with whanau for over 39 years. About the Role: As a Health Coach, you will empower whanau to take charge of their health by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve their personal health goals. You'll work closely with our clinical team to inspire positive lifestyle changes, manage stress, and enhance overall well-being. This is a permanent role, 32 hours a week between Monday to Friday and the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm. We are flexible to discuss which days and hours. What We Are Looking For: Commitment to our organisational values and kaupapa A warm, engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills Experience in outcome-focused work with individuals and groups Professionalism in all aspects of your work, from presentation to practice Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality A current New Zealand Full Driver's License An understanding of Te Reo and tikanga Maori (or a willingness to learn) A positive, adaptable attitude and a commitment to going the extra mile First aid certificate Completion of Recognised Health Coach Training (can be provided). A tertiary qualification in Hauroa/Health, Nutrition, Sport and Recreation or similar field.
