Psychology, Counselling & Social Work (Healthcare & Medical)About the roleAs a Health Coach at Te Mana Oranga Trust, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals and communities to achieve their health and wellness goals. Working full-time, Monday to Friday, this position is based between Waipapa and Kerikeri, Northland, and offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in people's lives.What you'll be doingDevelop personalised health and wellness plans for clients, tailored to their unique needs and objectivesProvide ongoing support, motivation and accountability to help clients achieve their goalsDeliver engaging and informative coaching sessionsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client wellbeingContribute to the continuous improvement of the health coaching programmeMaintain detailed client records and adhere to all relevant policies and proceduresWhat we're looking forQualifications and experience in a relevant field, such as counselling, psychology, or social workExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with people from diverse backgroundsStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a solutions-focused approachPassion for health, wellness and empowering individuals to make positive lifestyle changesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentAdaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and techniquesQualification and ExperienceMinimum qualification - Level 4 Mental Health and WellbeingRelevant experience in mental health, nutrition, or a related fieldExperience in health coaching or a similar role, with a proven track record of helping clients achieve their goalsFull driver's licenceA passion for health and wellness and a commitment to empowering individuals to take control of their healthA team player who collaborates and can work independentlyYou are a resident of New ZealandThe successful candidate must undergo a Police checkAbout usTe Mana Oranga Trust is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our local community, particularly in the area of mental health and addictions.
