Queenstown Medical Centre – Queenstown, South Island Queenstown Medical Centre has been an integral part of our community for over 50 years.
Our mission is to nurture respectful relationships within our team, community, and environment.
We are currently seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our team - Monday to Friday, no weekends and no late nights.
The Role Healthcare Assistants are essential to ensuring a smooth patient journey by supporting our clinical team.
The role is primarily based at one site, although working at other QMC's practices is expected.
In a typical week, your responsibilities may encompass: Ensuring adequate stock levels of essential items, vaccines, and equipment.
Maintaining systems for the upkeep of medical equipment and its maintenance.
Assisting with patient assessments, including but not limited to blood pressure checks, ECGs, vision tests, and updating height and weight records.
Providing support for clinics such as Immigration, Occupational Health, Insurance, Maritime, and Aviation assessments.

While prior experience in healthcare is advantageous, we welcome candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
