The opportunity awaits… We have a new opportunity within our People and Culture team for an enthusiastic Health and Safety Project Assistant to support the team as we roll out a new Health and Safety Management System.
This position is full time for 9 months but there may be flexibility for part time hours for the right candidate.
This role involves working closely with NRC's Health and Safety team to collect, analyse, and organize data.
This role would be the perfect start for a recent Health and Safety graduate or someone wanting to add to their health and safety foundations.
You will assist with system testing and help with creating online learning content.
A large portion of this role will be data entry and working with systems so you must have strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Previous experience with providing in person training would be an advantage.
In addition to project work, this role will support the Health and Safety team with general administration tasks.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for someone who can bring the following to our diverse talent pool: Understanding of HSWA 2015, associated regulations and guidance.
Competency in te reo Maori and tikanga is advantageous.
Experience in use of Microsoft applications especially Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
Experience developing and delivering training would be an advantage.
Full NZ driving license.
