The role: Reporting to the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Lead you will work closely with stakeholders to integrate HSW into everyday operations, proactively managing risks such as customer aggression and contractor safety. You'll contribute to critical projects focused on key risk areas, while enhancing the capabilities of health and safety representatives and aligning strategies with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will support initiatives such as the pain and discomfort program, aim to reduce ACC claims, and foster a collaborative HSW culture by partnering with internal advisors and external providers. Your responsibilities will also include managing reporting, risk mitigation, investigations, and audits, as well as translating complex HSW data into clear, actionable strategies.
Who you will be:
A passionate individual with strong technical knowledge and confidence in influencing stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to front-line employees.
Experience balancing compliance and education, with a focus on driving a cultural shift towards proactive health and safety.
Growth mindset, curiosity, and a hunger to drive meaningful change in a corporate environment.
Strong communication skills, the ability to simplify complex information, and a flair for innovation.
