We're looking for a talented Health and Safety Advisor to help us keep the good energy flowing in our Tairawhiti Gisborne office. In this role, you'll be part of a team delivering H&S best practice to Clarus' operations and activities.You'll be joining a supportive team in a hybrid working environment, who work within an atmosphere where autonomy and flexibility compliments the challenging and interesting work environment. In the interesting and varied role you will assist with delivery of the GroupHSQE Plan, working within the broader People, Safety and Sustainability (PSS) team.The role includes:Provide H&S technical advice and support to employees, contractors and other stakeholders, particularly within our electricity network.Promote the use and continuous development of safety management systems, standards and tools throughout the business.Lead Incident Investigations and learning teams and provide support on other investigations and associated actions.Hazard and Risk Management (initial, review, monitoring).H&S data monitoring, analysis, and reporting.QualificationsHe aha tau e kawe mai (What you will bring)Along with your relevant qualification and 5+ years' health and safety experience with high risk activities, you will have:Comprehension of H&S legislation and associated relevant regulations.Superior communication and influencing skills.Experience with behavioural-based safety observation programmes.This role is working predominantly in the Firstlight Network business, and it'd be great if you had energy sector experience, although it's not a requirement.Additional InformationNga ahuatanga kei a matou (What's In It For You)You'll be valued for who you are, rewarded for what you do and supported to thrive.
