Head teacher - Auckland, New Zealand - Avondale Christian Kindergarten Job Summary: We are a small, friendly family-oriented kindergarten in Avondale, Auckland seeking a qualified head teacher with at least 5 years' experience to lead our team and implement our local curriculum based on our Christian philosophy.
Responsibilities:
Lead our team of passionate kaiako in developing children's identity through valued learning.
Participate in curriculum planning, mentoring teachers, and the Professional Growth Cycle.
Support the manager in leading the kindergarten towards continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Qualifications and at least 5 years' working experience as a head teacher or interested in progressing to a head teacher role.
Passion for pedagogical leadership and effective communication with staff, children, and their whänau.
This position is a full-time, permanent role starting on 20 January 2025.
