Welcome to The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, Matauri Bay, a luxury lodge in the Bay of Islands where you can discover the beauty of panoramic views across the untouched coastline and deep blue ocean.Activities abound with the David Harman-designed golf course, immersive local heritage tours, fishing, bush walks, mountain biking, quad biking and spa sanctuary hidden within our native forest.About the Role:Our Head Pastry Chef is a hands-on position reporting to the Director of Culinary and tasked with a pivotal leadership role in the Rosewood Kauri Cliffs Culinary team.Responsibilities include:Creative input with menu development and dish presentationTraining and development of our pastry chefsEffort into optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and qualityEnsure exceptional hygiene practices are maintainedMonitor and control food costsSupport the Director of Culinary with general administration tasksAbout You:The successful candidate will be agile, have a can-do attitude, and proven success working in a high-pressure environment.
