This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a pivotal leadership role and make a significant impact as part of the Hobbycraft Finance Team.
About the RoleAs the Head of Reporting and FP&A, you will report to the Head of Finance and collaborate closely with the CFO and Head of Commercial Finance. Your role will be to lead a team of three management accountants and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of three management accountants, ensuring accurate and timely outputs.Manage the financial reporting, period-end close process and deliver insightful management accounts and MI packs for Board review.Coordinate and consolidate the annual budget and mid-year re-forecast, working with stakeholders across the business.Conduct regular and ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making, such as profitability assessments, cost evaluations, and business case preparation.Stakeholder engagement, partnering with senior business leaders to manage expenditure and ensure alignment with financial goals. About YouWe are seeking a finance professional with a proven track record of success in financial reporting and team leadership. You will bring:
Full accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).Advanced Excel skills and experience working with complex financial models.Strong background in period-end processes, budgeting, and financial analysis.Demonstrable ability to lead and develop a team.Commercial mindset, analytical and solutions-focused, with a proactive approach to delivering insights. DesirableExperience in consumer-facing or multi-site industries is advantageous.
