Add expected salary to your profile for insights.Do you have experience leading large infrastructure related projects?In this newly created role as Head of Programme Management Office, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and driving best practice in programme controls, business planning and governance for a multi-billion infrastructure capital programme, to ensure Auckland Airport is equipped for the successful delivery of its integrated domestic jet terminal and airfield capacity.As a successful Head of Programme Management office you will focus on setting the capability to ensure the Airport delivers the programme on budget, on time and with quality, providing readily available programme performance insights supported by accurate information to track and measure the delivery of our anchor projects, and to allow evidence-based decision making.Reporting to the Chief Infrastructure Officer, this is an exciting opportunity to sit on the Infrastructure Leadership team and make a real impact!Your role will consist of, but not limited to:Implementing best practices and processes across all programmes, ensuring controls and governance have a consistent methodology and framework to work and there is a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.Develop and improve systems and processes for measuring, tracking, and managing, consistently, the current and future Infrastructure Capital Programme to enhance visibility on Cost, Time, Scope, Risk, and Quality.Ensure the whole programme lifecycle view is accounted for and support the development of the Infrastructure Capital Programme from its "programme formation" phase to the handover into operations.What you will bring to the role:Minimum 15 years' experience in senior project and/or project controls leadership roles in a large scale and complex infrastructure environment(s). Demonstrated success in definition and application of project control methodologies within mid-to-large scale initiatives.7 years business process management/improvement and support service experience with a minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role.Experience and knowledge of developing and leading people, process and information & technology systems within relevant delivery environment.Demonstrated leadership experience in engaging, developing and motivating teams, to deliver high quality outputs.Strong commercial acumen with proven business planning, financial management and risk management skills alongside an understanding of best practice procurement and supplier relationship management principles.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, Accounting or related discipline.About us:Auckland Airport is more than just a business.
