We serve a diverse urban community with students from a wide range of cultural, social and economic backgrounds.
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring leader to lead our mathematics and statistics team. This person would be a dedicated educational professional with the ability toengage, inspire, challenge and empower both students and staff.
Our school values of maia | courage, manaakitanga | care and manawa reka | curiosity underpin our teaching and learning, and your ability to teach based on these values as well as culturally sustaining and restorative practices is an expectation.
We are a 1-1 device school, so the ability integrate meaningful e-learning is also essential. There is also the possibility of teaching across learning areas within our EDGE innovation programme. Please state the subjects you are able to teach at a senior level in your application.
We offer a caring and inclusive teaching and learning environment, as well as a range of opportunities for professional development. As a learning community we are always looking at ongoing improvement, so a positive attitude to learning and change is essential.
Applicants must be NZ registered teachers and be fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and NCEA requirements .
