FMG are looking for a passionate and motivated leader to join our Sales, Advice and Service Leadership Team to lead our successful Life & Health channel.
Reporting to the Chief Client Officer, this role has responsibility for leading FMG's strategy of building a world-class Life and Health Insurance distribution model to meet the needs of our clients and provide the strategic direction and alignment of this channel across the wider Mutual.

The development and management of relationships with Life & Health product and service providers (as FMG does not underwrite its own Life & Health products) and development of a clear strategy in which to operate and execute; implicit in this is determining the products and services that are required and valued by FMG's client base.The development of robust systems and infrastructure and related policies and processes to enable FMG to achieve significantly more business scale and in turn market share of the Life & Health market over the coming years.Enhancing the client experience through standardising, streamlining and simplifying business processes, including through leveraging digital tools and channelsDriving a high performance and coaching culture and maintaining high levels of employee engagement, for not only direct reports but the wider Life & Health channel.The successful candidate will be a commercially savvy leader and will have:
At least five years' Senior Leadership experience in Life & Health, with a deep knowledge of the NZ Life and Health marketsExperience in building and executing successful strategies for growthA commitment to delivering on and enhancing the experience of clientsProven experience in leading people centred change initiatives at a strategic and operational levelStrong relationship building skills at all levels of an organisationHigh levels of personal accountability, energy, passion and integrity and a demonstrated ability to drive a strong, values driven, engaged culture!Roles like this don't come around very often in FMG so if you're looking for the opportunity to be part of FMG's exciting future - apply now!
