Working alongside two others with different portfolios, you'll quickly become integral in driving impactful change and leading with purpose. If you're ready to lead and coach a team of 8-12 Business Partners and Senior HR Advisors whilst partnering and influencing senior leaders in a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity.Role Overview:As the Head of HR Business Partnering for the Corporate Portfolio, you'll provide strategic HR leadership across key business groups including the Office of the Chief Executive, People & Safety, Engagement & Partnerships, and Commercial & Corporate. This highly collaborative role requires partnering with Group General Managers and their leadership teams to create and implement people strategies that align with strategic objectives, sometimes working in ambiguity and always at pace so 'best practice' isn't always possible... 'fit for purpose' is the key.Leading, inspiring, and coaching the team, you'll help them shift from good to great delivering operational excellence and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. You'll have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives with national impact and the flexibility to work from Auckland or Wellington; and be in a position to travel when needed to the other city or other locations occasionally.This is a 12-18 Month Fixed Term Contract.About You:- You bring extensive HR experience in complex, large-scale environments (20+ years preferred), with expertise in strategic business partnering and change management.- Strong track record of partnering with senior leadership, influencing decision-making, and leading HR transformations.- Commercially astute, confident, and credible when speaking with Senior Leaders.- Exceptional coaching skills and experience in fostering leadership capability.- Knowledge or a willingness to learn Te Ao Maori and an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, with proven success in team development and performance enhancement.- Flexible to travel between Auckland and Wellington when required and other locations occasionally.Ready to Lead with Purpose and be part of a team that upholds a culture of trust, collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth?
