In this pivotal position, you'll lead key finance functions - including Finance Business Partnering, Rates, and Regulatory Finance - ensuring seamless integration with our wider Finance Group. Your expertise will guide our teams in delivering top-notch management accounting, analytics, and commercial reporting that support meaningful strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with various business units to align financial services with our strategic goals.Manage transactional services, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies in partnership with the Chief Financial Officer, supporting long-term financial sustainability and resource allocation.Lead budgeting processes and provide tactical insights into financial planning and forecasting.Implement and manage financial policies and risk management strategies.Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Plan, Long-Term Plan, and Annual Report, providing essential financial data and analysis to support organisational transparency and accountability.Identify and spearhead projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies, integrating automation, and leveraging technology to improve the quality of financial information.About you: Our ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and be an exceptional people leader who can think strategically and outside the box as we navigate a rapidly changing operating environment. You will be happy rolling your sleeves up as you enthusiastically tackle complex issues.
