A key leadership role that reports to our Chief Network Delivery Officer. You will lead a large team, 2 direct reports with 60+ indirect reports. These teams sit across managing overhead, faults, underground and civil.

The role
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for proactively leading Operational Planning and Delivery functions to ensure that all outcomes are delivered safely, to plan, and in a cost-effective manner. You will manage field services to achieve delivery in full and on time, through effective coordination and control of all resources.
What you'll need
We are seeking someone with previous experience in an operations leadership role, where you have built, led, and managed teams. Experience developing and interpreting operational performance analytics and field management analytics to inform decision-making is essential. Knowledge of the Electricity Participation Code as it relates to distribution companies, and knowledge of the Electricity Act, Electricity Safety Regulations, and SM-EI would be ideal along with 10 years' experience with overhead line construction.
You will have the proven experience to articulate clear direction and goals and support others in the achievement of these. Equally important is the ability to contribute and work collaboratively as a member of the department management team, understanding the importance of positive durable working relationships.
A Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Power Engineering would be desirable along with a project management qualification.
