We're looking for a head of faculty, a teaching and curriculum team leader with vision, commitment and experience. + 3 additional non-contact hours.With around 280 students and 10+ teachers across Y7–8, our ideal candidate will come from a primary/intermediate background, be a proven teacher and have recent experience leading an effective team culture with excellent curriculum and teaching practices. The successful candidate can expect a very satisfying key role within a team of middle leaders, supported by an assistant and two deans, in a relatively traditional school environment where all classrooms are single and most have glass dividers allowing flow when appropriate.As a semi-rural school close to Christchurch and the Alps, at the heart of our community, our change programme is based on a strong vision. We're in the midst of implementing PB4L and restorative practices, curriculum reform and cultural capability development.
