The role: The Head of Delivery - Fixed Term Contract (Parental Leave cover until May 2025) is a key member of the Delivery team at Flux, providing strategic delivery leadership that drives great customer outcomes and commercial results for our clients and for Flux.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to bring your extensive experience of software delivery and build and lead a delivery practice that meets the needs and grows with the organisation.
A busy role, you'll collaborate across the organisation to ensure projects meet delivery expectations and best practices through effective leadership and guidance. You will actively oversee several moving project parts while ensuring visibility of programme information and data to the wider business. You'll develop and establish strategies through clear change management and gaining support from impacting business areas.

Ensure operating objectives are consistent with existing culture to ensure efficient and effective implementation of projects.
Provide leadership and manage project and implementation direct reports. Providing professional development and advice in their areas of responsibility.
Proactively work across the business to ensure all projects meet delivery expectations and best practices through effective leadership and guidance.
Keep Executives informed with detailed and accurate reporting. Distilling relevant project and delivery information, and data to effectively report on project measures for informed decision making.
Nurture and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct audits and retrospectives for continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Work collaboratively across the business to ensure that projects are coordinated and aligned with organisational objectives.
Ensure that your leadership and guidance align with company roadmaps, product, and engineering strategies to support a cohesive and strong Flux delivery.
Direct and ensure that project efforts are cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting company goals.
Supervise Company Portfolio of work providing transparency, guidance and forecasting company performance and risks.
Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.
Lead, grow and develop direct reports.
Recruit, train and integrate new members of the team
Ensure the team are continuously developing and have learning and development plans in place for the skills they need now and in the future
Give clear and honest feedback, and promptly address any performance or behaviour issues
Build and promote a positive working environment for the team.
What you'll bring: 8+ years' in a Project or Programme Management roles in a Software Development company.
An understanding of different software delivery structures, workflow, and operating practices within a technology and/or SaaS businesses.
Experience effectively leading and managing a diverse team of delivery and project staff.
Solid stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively and calmly in highly pressured, fast moving environments.
Demonstrated ability to successfully direct, coordinate, and strategically deliver the overall programme of work for the team..
