This is a key role as part of the finance team, reporting to the Global Head of Commercial Finance and partnering closely with the Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams at our Super Kitchen based in Napier. This is a management role with 3 direct reports.To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in a commercially driven FMCG environment (ideally working with large operations businesses). You'll be known for your strength in building relationships with senior leadership teams as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.Key responsibilities:Manage operational and supply chain financial metrics and identify any areas for improvement to current processes.Develop long term financial plans and financial reconciliation for manufacturing and supply chain options.Evaluate the financial performance of commercial activities, such as product lines, plant performance, cost optimisation, capex business cases and improved operational efficiency.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of manufacturing and supply chain costs and other key metrics.Identify financial risks and opportunities associated with activities and develop strategies to mitigate these risks or realise opportunities.Key requirements:A substantial and recognised tertiary qualification in accounting and financeAt least 10 years' experience in a commercially driven FMCG or similar businessHighly developed analytical skillsA sound knowledge of Excel and financial management.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, rapidly growing business with a global footprint.
