Our orchards in Hawke's Bay continue to produce some of New Zealand's finest fruits, thanks to our dedicated team and cutting-edge practices.In this role, you'll play a key part in connecting our operations with finance. You'll analyse our financials, uncover valuable insights, and help maintain our financial health. From management accounting and financial analysis to monitoring projects, you'll be our go-to expert for all things finance.Key Responsibilities:Build, maintain and evolve financial models to inform business decision makingConduct comprehensive financial analyses and prepare insightful reportsProvide insights for projections, uncovering opportunities, potential challenges, and strategic advantagesPerform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries and reconciliationsConduct payroll reviews, analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and complianceCollaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across the business to optimise forecasting and budget managementProvide backup support for a range of finance functions such as fixed asset management and accounts payableThe Ideal Candidate:Holds a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldHas 2-3 years of experience in a similar roleIs highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Power QueryPossesses strong attention to detail and analytical skillsEnjoys solving complex financial challenges and deriving actionable insightsHas excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleaguesHas a desire to continue learning and evolving as part of a dynamic industrySolid knowledge of accounting principles and processesIf you're a finance professional looking for a role where you can apply your skills to drive business success, we would love to hear from you.
