Head Maintenance Engineer

Westfleet Seafoods – Greymouth, South IslandWe have an exciting opportunity for a Head Maintenance Engineer to join the Westfleet Seafoods team. In this role, you will primarily oversee the day-to-day operation of the plant & equipment within our factory, wharf area, and retail shop. Performing essential repairs & maintenance tasks yourself or arranging contractors. Duties will also include maintaining all documentation and records accurately. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be the main contact for all maintenance issues.Skills & ExperienceExperience in regular maintenance, fitting, servicing of machinery and routine checksRefrigeration and/or Food production experience would be an advantage.Ability to respond quickly and prioritize when things arisePossess a keen and positive attitude. Can easily adapt and learn new systemsThorough with good attention to detailPhysically fitHigh standard of Health and Safety practicesApplications will be reviewed as they are received.
