We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team at Star Group, a leading hospitality group in New Zealand.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced chef to lead a high-performing kitchen team. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.Key Responsibilities:Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and productivityTrain and develop a team of chefs to achieve high standardsCreate new menu ideas and implement seasonal changesManage food and labour costs, working within budgets to optimize profitabilityOrganize prep work, stock control, and inventory managementLead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional serviceAbout UsStar Group is a well-established hospitality company with a strong presence in New Zealand. This is a permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will be required to work a 7-day roster, including weekends.Please note that applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role.
