Head Chef

We are a well established 150 seat Mexican restaurant located only 90 minutes North of Auckland in Mangawhai Heads. We are searching for a Head Chef to assist in running our busy kitchen.
We are looking for a confident Chef to move forward with us and become an integral part of our team.
Level 1 qualification and 1 year experience in a busy restaurant kitchen is essential, full training will also be provided.
The role will include:
Cooking for dine in and take away customersFood assembly/platingWorking with deep fryersGeneral food preparation and storageGeneral support for rest of the teamGeneral cleaning/dishesOrdering and stock takeTraining junior kitchen staffRostering and shift organisationFood safety training and record keepingMenu developmentCostingRunning specials$35 per hour, 40-45 hours per week available, flexible shifts
