Job Description
PLAY TO YOUR STRENGTHS
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will work together to create menus and dishes that will showcase the best talent and produce we have to offer. Your menus will surprise and delight all guests and visitors of Pullman Auckland, continuing the journey in leading the way.
Being responsible for the quality that leaves your kitchen each time, you will be driven to ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained at all times. You will consistently drive to go the extra mile to achieve a wonderful guest experience and exceed the goals of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ongoing management of the restaurant kitchen operation.
Assist in effective management of food costs and budgets.
Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques are established and monitored to meet Brand Standard guidelines.
Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
Assist in recruitment and development of chefs & stewards.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Must have a PASSION for delivering a wonderful culinary experience to all guests!
Previous experience of 2+ years leading a kitchen brigade is advantageous.
Be flexible - you are required to work a variety of shifts, including late nights, public holidays, and weekends.
Exceptional organisational and guest service delivery skills.
A passion for the hospitality industry and a drive to deliver exceptional results.
