Classification: Manufacturing & operations Shining Peak are on the lookout for a Brewing Legend to join our Award Winning team in stunning New Plymouth. After taking the title of Champion Small New Zealand Brewery in 2023, we're looking to take the Brewery to lofty new heights.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our Production Manager and Sales Manager to oversee all facets of beer production, while helping to grow the brand and develop new products. Being a small brewery, the Head Brewer's role will have great variety from day to day, yielding the best experience in all facets of Beer Production.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your role will include:
- Beer Production in all forms, from raw material selection through to packaging and everything in between.
- Record Keeping and Quality Control.
- Monitoring of Brew Conditions.
- Collaborating with the Production Manager to create new Beers.
- Managing Staff.
- Health and Safety Management.
- Inventory Control.
- Representing the Brand.
- Monitoring and Assisting in Brewery Maintenance.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- 3+ years experience running brew operations.
- Attention to detail and organisation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good physical health and fitness.
- Experience managing staff.
- Forklift License.
- A great personality that can represent our brand.
