About The Role

If you are passionate about service and have a smile to match, we are seeking a Guest Services Agent.
We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant who understands the meaning of great guest service, teamwork, and attention to detail. A team player who enjoys the hospitality industry and wants to further their career.
This role covers different shifts during the week, weekends, and public holidays. You will need to be flexible to work all rostered days and preferably come with a minimum of 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience.
This role requires you to do porter duties from time to time and assist in other areas of the hotel as needed.
This is a part-time (Minimum 20 hours per week) permanent role based at Sudima Christchurch City, and the hourly rate is $25.00 per hour.
The primary objective of this role is to check guests in and out in a timely manner and amaze guests with outstanding customer service. On a daily basis, the successful candidate will:
Ensure guests are receiving the best possible services.
Have a full New Zealand Drivers license.
Be updated on the knowledge of all room categories and amenities.
Be responsible for the Front Office operations and guest satisfaction of the departments.
Assist with guest enquiries.
Answer phone calls and ensure guest requests are actioned and followed up with relevant departments.
Attend ongoing training.
Communicate professionally with other hotel departments.
Handle emergency situations and follow procedures to ensure the safety of Guests, Staff, and Visitors.
Ensure Health and Safety standards are being met and reported as per policy.
Assist other departments in the successful operation of the business with a key focus on guest service, guest relations, and yield management.

A full drivers licence.
NZQF level 2 or 3 (ANZSCO Skill Level 4).
OR at least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
