The Bay of Many Coves is a remote luxury lodge in Arthur's Bay, a 30 minute water taxi ride up the Queen Charlotte Sound from Picton, and we are looking for an exceptional people person to join our award winning team as a Guest Services Agent.
This is a permanent, full-time position, for this live in role.
With an attractive remuneration package including accommodation, staff perks and a competitive salary, you will coordinate between front and back of house to help deliver an outstanding experience for our guests and meet their 5 star expectations.
Reporting to the Lodge Manager, you must have proven experience working in a similar role in guest services.
You will manage the pressures of guests and colleagues as you act as a central source of information for guests, whilst liaising with the housekeeping, front of house and kitchen teams as required.
To be successful, you will offer an exemplary standard of customer service and manage the front desk confidently to deal with inquiries from guests via email and phone call.
You will be polite, confident, well presented and comfortable working in a busy environment, with a maximum of 34 in-house guests as well as casual guests enjoying the resort and beautiful surroundings, requiring prioritization and multitasking abilities.
You will be joining a small and highly engaged team, so it's important you are a team player willing to pitch in.
You will also be comfortable working and living in a remote location, happily taking advantage of many outdoor activities at our doorstep, including kayaking, swimming and hiking.
We are especially open to offering this opportunity to a couple with complementary skills, so we welcome your interest and conversation about your suitability as a team of two.
Other roles that your partner could fill include but are not limited to Housekeeping, Front of House, Maintenance or Chef.
