Apple Thinning And Vineyard Hand

Murphy Horticulture is a family-owned business operating a vineyard as well as being the only export apple grower in the region, providing our staff with unique diversity and experience. We're located within 5 minutes of Blenheim in the magnificent Marlborough region.
We have a number of opportunities for work starting in November and working through until Christmas for keen applicants. Primarily you will be helping us thin apples as well as some small jobs in the vineyard such as wire-lifting. We would love to hear from you if you're keen, motivated, reliable, and happy to work outside. At this stage we are currently only looking for NZ citizens or resident visa holders.
You will need to be reasonably fit and comfortable working with a ladder. We offer full training and you will be working on piece rate which gives you the opportunity to earn significantly more than the standard hourly rate if you put in the effort. We're also offering a minimum wage rate of $23.15 per hour rather than the minimum wage.
The aim is to complete 40+ hours a week, Monday to Friday with Saturday optional, weather permitting. We would also consider flexi contracts for people who are not able to commit to 40 hours per week.
