Novotel Queenstown Lakeside is centrally located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and is the largest hotel in Queenstown with 273 rooms, catering for leisure guests, incentives and small meetings. We are proud of our diverse workplace with up to 25+ nationalities from all over the world.
Summer in Queenstown is awesome, with the long day light hours providing the opportunity to experience a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, walking, outside dining, and beach BBQ's. Winter being equally as fun on the slopes and in town.
Job Description
Welcome our guests, assist them with their booking and accommodation requirements. Manage payments and balancing of folios and payments. Assist with all our queries, reservations and portering.
Range of shifts 6am, 2pm or 10pm starts, requires the ability to cover night shifts at times.
Work on a rotating roster over 7 days and public holidays.
Great communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent personal presentation.
Work well in a team.
Positive and calm under pressure.
Commitment to the role, ideally looking for long term staff who wish to grow in Hospitality.
Qualifications
Previous customer experience 3 months.
