Quest Caroline Springs is an 80-room property located 25 minutes on the western suburb side of Melbourne.
The business now has an opportunity available for a Guest Service Agent to join our team, working in a Casual position.
We are comfortably able to offer ongoing fulltime hours for the right candidate.
The Role Involves all aspects of front office reception, including delivering effortless guest experiences, providing friendly, personalised customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, promoting the business to achieve accommodation sales, processing reservations and ensuring full and accurate data capture, assisting corporate and leisure guests (eg check in, explaining hotel facilities and location, check out), and ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk.
The Ideal Candidate Will have a first aid certificate and demonstrate a passion for customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests, strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, experience with front office booking systems, a keen eye for detail, high standards of personal presentation, and a highly team orientated ethos.
Previous front office reception experience in a hospitality, travel or tourism environment would be highly regarded, as would other types of customer facing roles eg retail.
The successful applicant must be available to work shifts 7am and 11pm, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
You will be required to commit to an initial 4-week tailored onboarding process which will require fulltime hours commitment and the ability to work AM (until 5pm) and PM (until 11pm) during this period.
