About the role
Centrally located in the heart of Auckland CBD, the award-winning boutique Fable Auckland Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to deliver outstanding guest service experiences.
You will be responsible for delivering quality-standard guest services as well as assisting with reservation tasks to ensure the best booking experience for your guests.
Key responsibilities:
Perform all necessary Reception tasks including checking guests in and out, cashiering, answering phone calls, attending to guest requests and complaints.
Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities, and other information.
Perform all necessary reservation tasks and respond to email inquiries, group bookings, inbound and tour groups to ensure all bookings are in place.
Handle guest complaints efficiently & effectively.
Ensure that the Front Office Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments.
Demonstrate and maintain a high level of customer service.
Follow company brand standards.
Requirements and Skills:
Previous experience working in a Hotel reception/reservations environment.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
A positive, reliable, charismatic, and can-do attitude.
Excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to standards.
Previous experience in cash handling is a plus.
Basic computer literacy.
Current eligibility to work in New Zealand.
Hospitality qualification preferred.
Working knowledge of Opera PMS preferred.
