Our amazing Team Members are at the heart of it all.A Groups, Meetings and Events Coordinator is responsible for receiving groups and events in the hotel, serving as an intermediary between the customer and the commercial and operational areas. It is the customer contact at the time they arrive at the hotel with their event, working with the hotel to achieve the set goals.What will I be doing?As a Groups, Meetings and Events Coordinator, you will work on the events that occur in the Hotel from initial contact with the head of the event to preparing contracts for groups and events, until the end of the event. You must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:Receive groups and events and keep the hotel updated on their statusDraw up contracts for groups and eventsInsert Rooming List in the system, update payment instructions and enter important information relevant to the groupNegotiate budgets with customersDevelop event Work Orders in the system with all relevant informationConduct instructional groups with all relevant information to the group (number of attendees, category, price, payment method, contact information, special notes, etc.)Perform monthly reports for groups and update closing informationInteract continuously with Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Reservations, Front Desk, Department Parties, Hilton Meetings, and kitchenEngage directly with guests or clients during the stay of groups and eventsParticipate in special activities such as cocktail receptions, welcome tours for groups, etc.Ensure that all client requests are addressed efficientlyWhat are we looking for?A Groups, Meetings and Events Coordinator serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and collaborating with other Team Members.
