Bishop Auckland College has an exciting opportunity to join our Student Services team as a Group Tutorial Learning Coach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering group tutorial sessions focusing on employability, careers, healthy living, safeguarding, equality and diversity, British Values, the Prevent agenda, e-safety, and other relevant issues.
Additionally, the candidate will assist with implementing Student Voice throughout the College.
The successful candidate will be required to possess a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area and a PTLLS qualification (or be willing to work towards it within 1 year), or a suitable related qualification.
It is desirable that the candidate will also possess an IT qualification, Level 2 in Equality & Diversity, a degree or equivalent professional qualification, and Level 2 in Literacy.
Applicants will also have experience in presenting to and engaging with young people.
This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding, and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
