Group Treasury Back Office Manager

Our Group Treasurer team has an exciting opportunity for a Group Treasury Back Office Manager to join the team.
In this newly created role, you will play a key role in transitioning, establishing, and managing the Treasury Back Office functions for Auckland Council and Watercare. You will ensure the seamless execution of critical activities such as settlements, reconciliations, and reporting.
This role also focuses on maintaining compliance, implementing robust operational controls, and optimising systems to drive efficiency and foster continuous improvements in treasury back-office operations.
You can expect to work on:
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, while mitigating operational risks.Proactively identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of treasury back-office operations.You bring advanced knowledge of treasury back-office functions, including transaction processing, reconciliations, settlements, and confirmations. Your strong analytical skills enable you to resolve issues effectively while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements.
We will be looking specifically for experience with:
An in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements.Significant experience working with advanced Treasury Management Systems, ideally GTreasury.Advanced expertise in compliance, risk management, and operational controls.Auckland Council is one of the largest local authorities in the South Pacific providing essential services and facilities to more than 1.6 million people.
