Job Description
As the Group Leader of our successful Transport business, you will continue to drive AECOM's reputation as a leading consultant on transportation projects, as we solve our client's most complex challenges.

With client satisfaction and project delivery at the forefront, you will ensure our internal structure and skills continue to provide the best possible service to the market. You will engage with current and prospective clients to build effective relationships resulting in revenue growth, through deepening relationships of trust, best for project delivery and exceptional quality.

What will a day in this role look like?

Leading business development opportunities in the transportation sector; identifying new service offerings, responding to the market, identifying and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, and cross-selling between business units, service lines and other regions

Fostering a positive and inclusive culture; coaching and supporting team leaders and senior employees to grow capability and achieve business and project objectives

Attracting, growing and retaining key talent

Governance and leading the delivery of a programme of projects, assuming Project Approver responsibilities

Playing an active role in the direction of the business; contributing as a key senior member of the regional and national leadership teams, collaborating with peers across Australia & New Zealand to share work and resources, and ensuring overall continued success of our transport business.

Qualifications
What are we looking for from you?

Relevant tertiary engineering qualification

A minimum of 20 years' experience across a range of transportation projects with a proven track record of delivering strong business results.

A collaborative and influential leader who is able to build effective relationships with clients, key stakeholders and team members.

Willingness to share knowledge, experience, ideas, and expertise for the betterment of group and self.

Knowledge of the local market for consulting services, demonstrated commercial acumen and solid business development/work winning skills.
