Group Reporting Manager / Ngai Tahu Holdings

We are seeking a highly capable Group Reporting Manager to join Ngai Tahu Holdings on a full-time, fixed term basis through until September 2025.
This opportunity will be based in Christchurch - Otautahi.
Reporting to the Group Finance Operations Manager, you will provide accounting and financial business support across a diverse portfolio of assets and commercial ventures, including tourism, seafood, property, farming, forestry, and investments.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting decision-making by working closely with Business Unit Managers and the Finance team, while also ensuring service excellence to our customers and delivering value to Ngai Tahu whanui.
Ngai Tahu Holdings, the investment arm of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, is committed to the expert management of capital investments.
Our mandate is to grow and protect the tribal putea and Settlement assets for future generations, "Mo tatou, a, mo ka uri a muri ake nei" (for us and our children after us).
We are looking for a talented and driven individual with: Strong technical and statutory accounting experience Experience managing year-end close processes and liaising with external auditors A relevant tertiary qualification, with CA to CAANZ preferred At least 5 years of experience in corporate reporting such as controller or manager Advanced skills in the Microsoft product suite Familiarity with the Treaty of Waitangi and its application to Ngai Tahu An affinity for the needs and aspirations of Ngai Tahu whanui A willingness to learn and engage with te reo Maori and tikanga Maori In this role, you will also lead statutory financial reporting, ensure compliance with NZ IFRS and PBE standards, manage treasury reporting, and support sustainability initiatives, including greenhouse gas emission reporting.
