Group Marketing Manager, NZ & AU The Porter Group has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our dynamic and tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about performance marketing and data, with proven experience developing, implementing, and managing performance marketing campaigns. This role will be based at our Head Quarters in Hamilton, New Zealand. Purpose of the Role: As our Group Marketing Manager, NZ & AU, you will be responsible for the driving the marketing strategy throughout New Zealand and Australia, building on the initiatives in place. This is a diverse role overseeing all aspects of marketing including, but not limited to, website design & management, social media & analytics monitoring, photography, videography, video production, google campaigns & SEO management, design of promotional assets including EDM's and quarterly newsletters. The Group Marketing Manager, NZ & AU will lead the marketing team to generate marketing ideas and initiatives to effectively promote and represent Porter Group divisions & brands, while engaging with target audiences and ensuring all marketing material aligns with company brand guidelines. The Group Marketing Manager, NZ & AU will oversee the management of the Merchandise and Uniforms, Exhibitions, Print Media, social media, online presence, digital content production and assist in videography production where necessary. The Group Marketing Manager, NZ & AU is responsible for building, designing & improving current workflow software as well as providing training to the group across New Zealand & Australia. They will also be responsible for the interface between IT and operations for the assessment, implementation, and maintenance of software systems and applications – mobile app solutions, CRM solutions, marketing automation, E-commerce. Also, for the utilisation and integration of applications into the overall Marketing effort. The Group Marketing Manager, NZ & AU will oversee and manage the Revenue and Insurance administration function for Porter Equipment NZ and Porter Hire. Key Responsibilities: Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to promote The Porter Group as a premier equipment supplier. SEO & Website Management: Optimize website content and performance to improve search engine rankings and user experience. Digital Advertising: Manage campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation of compelling content for digital channels including websites, blogs, social media, and email newsletters. Email & CRM Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns to drive customer engagement and retention. Collaboration & Relationship Building: Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure synergy across marketing efforts. Key Outcomes: Maintain a robust digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and generate leads. Ensure all parts of the organization reflect the marketing strategy. Increase engagement and conversion via social and digital channels. Analyse campaign results and provide data to support marketing activities. Align new marketing materials with brand guidelines and objectives. At all times uphold and promote the image and perception of the Porter Group through professional leadership of the Marketing Team. To efficiently utilise the marketing and sales admin resources and capacity, by managing these functions under a single coherent structure. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Marketing Strategy Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role. Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices. Experience managing SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns. Experience in website design and maintenance. Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc. Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
