About The Role: This is a new position created with Council's focus on ensuring that the organisation is fit for the future as a customer-focussed organisation ready to address the challenges and opportunities ahead for the District.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the incumbent will lead the Finance Team along with a Lease and Land Advisor and an ICT department. The role is ultimately responsible for developing and executing financial planning and strategies to support the Council's goals while also ensuring compliance with financial reporting regulations.

Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance professional and natural people leader who enjoys bringing people together and fostering a positive workplace culture.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
