Group Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a medium sized yet growing and ambitious business based in Christchurch. As Group Finance Manager you will report directly to the Group Managing Director and play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the financial strategy of the business. This role also offers an opportunity to lead and influence business direction and strategy in a small team of dedicated people.

The role Responsible for full financial function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, banking, annual accounts and audit.
Lead, mentor and grow a small talented finance team
Financial analysis to monitor trends, provide insights and guide strategy.
Assessing financial risks and opportunities
Collaboratively setting financial goals and tracking progress
Provide financial leadership and support across other functions of the business
Member of the Executive Team which discuss, guide and implement business strategy
New Zealand recognized qualification as a chartered Accountant or equivalent
Proven experience in a senior finance role
Proven commercial experience and people leadership skills
Sound knowledge of accounting practices and policies as well as excellent skills in data analytics.
Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel
Organised, can meet deadlines, proactive, uses initiative and good communication skills
Hands on approach
Hold full working rights for New Zealand and be based in Christchurch
