Our portfolio consists of three businesses: The Relocatable Home Company (TRHCo.), Jack House Transit (JHT) and Goodwood Woodwaste Solutions.The Role:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Group Finance Manager to join our team based in Mount Maunganui, on a part time basis (approximately 20 – 30 hours per week). This offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the business owners to drive the financial health and success of the Group. As a key member of the team, you will provide financial reporting and analysis, lead financial strategy, and play a central role in shaping the group's future success.Key Responsibilities:Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end processes.Develop and review budgets, monitor performance against targets, and identify variances with clear explanations and rationale.Maintain robust internal controls and ensure sound financial stewardship.Manage cash flow, forecasting, debtors, creditors, and tax obligations (FBT, GST, payroll, and company tax).Collaborate with stakeholders, including tax agents, to manage year-end tax provisions.Drive business performance by identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and implementing initiatives to improve efficiency and financial outcomes.Lead strategic financial functions and provide financial advisory.Collaborate with other departments to support effective financial planning and decision-making.About You:Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and traits.A degree in Accounting with at least five years of senior-level experience, holding CA or equivalent professional membershipStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Xero, MS Office and other relevant technologiesSound judgment and strategic problem-solving capabilitiesExceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting and analysisProactively identifies risks, develops and implements solutions to mitigate potential issuesOutstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information for various audiencesDemonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and train staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Adaptable, approachable enthusiastic professional who thrives in fast paced business environmentsAbility to collaborate with various stakeholders while effectively managing competing priorities.How to Apply:Send you CV and a cover letter telling us why you would be a great fit for this role and why you want to work with us.Please note: applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ and hold a full clean NZ driver's licence.How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
