You will ensure all financial accounting, management, transactional and reporting services are delivered within agreed timelines and compliant with internal policies and external reporting standards.This is not a desk bound role for a traditional accountant, yes there is month end and reporting packs, but you will be involved in the strategic decision-making and be known within the business as the trusted finance business partner providing high level support to the wider business.Your main responsibilities include:Managing the finance team's operational performanceProvide accurate and timely month end and year-end financial reportingResponsible for the Treasury and Tax functionManage the budgeting and forecastingDrive business improvement utilising business systems and internal controlsProvide reporting and financial advice on the company performanceWork effectively with internal and external stakeholders including auditors.About You:You will be an engaging professional individual with a strategic commercial approach to your work but also prepared to be hands on, and in the trenches with your team when required.You must have the following skills/experience:Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA/CIMA)Significant New Zealand experience at a senior level in financial and management accounting within a commercial environmentLead and managed a transactional and commercially focused finance teamA commercially savvy individual who can work at pace and push back when requiredDemonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, have a high level of emotional intelligence and presentation skillsExperience working in Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail or Distribution would be highly beneficial.This is the opportunity for you to grow in the business with a definite career path for the right individual.Please contact Adrienne Gordon Ph 021 192 6438 for more information or Email: ****** or Apply OnlineREF # 128858
