With family values, we're a company that cares immensely about our people. 100% Kiwi owned, we provide local jobs and invest in the local community.The opportunityReporting to the NZ Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, with a dotted line to the AU Supply Chain manager, as Group Demand Planner, this role is integral to the overall success of achieving our business goals by accurately forecasting product demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the seamless supply of products to meet customer needs and business goals. As well as:Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather and incorporate relevant information into demand planning.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement to ensure optimal stock levels.Analyse and report on demand planning metrics, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Implement and refine demand planning processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Participate in monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings to align demand plans with business objectives.Address and resolve any issues related to demand planning and inventory management.About youThe successful candidate will have proven experience in demand planning, ideally within the Retail, Distribution or Manufacturing industries, as well as:Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning software (Anaplan would be advantageous), Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with the confidence to present to senior management.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.Knowledge of the bedding industry or consumer goods sector is advantageous.Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain would support the application but are not essential.On OfferJoining The Comfort Group means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to improving sleep quality and enhancing the lives of our customers.
