The Role
Coordinate and consolidate the annual budgeting process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Prepare budget presentations for stakeholders and support the CFO and Business Unit owners.
Manage the preparation and consolidation of full-year financial forecasts.
Implement new forecasting systems and provide regular analysis and reporting.
Provide financial analysis and commercial insights to support strategic projects, mergers, acquisitions, and key business initiatives.
Develop tools and systems to improve business performance clarity and identify growth opportunities.
Prepare monthly board reports detailing performance against KPIs and objectives.
Lead a team of finance and commercial professionals, ensuring effective communication and performance tracking.
Promote a culture of health and safety within the finance function.
Your Profile
Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance
Chartered Accountant qualification (CAANZ or similar)
Minimum 5 years' experience in management within finance within a medium to large commercial organisation ($200M+)
Strong leadership, coaching, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze trends and data to provide strategic recommendations as part of a group reporting pack
Proactive, self-starter with a strong commercial acumen
Commitment to customer service excellence and building strong stakeholder relationships
