This is an awesome opportunity to be a key member of our in-house studio helping to deliver the marketing and promotional programme for Mitre 10 marketing.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating effective, integrated design solutions that result in an engaging brand experience across all customer touchpoints.
Reporting to the Head of Retail Marketing, your key areas of involvement will include:
Conceptualising, designing, and producing content across a variety of mediums, aligned with the marketing strategy and visual identity guidelinesCreation of printed and digital advertising (brochures, posters, html5 banners, social content, motion graphics, print media and more)Design brand guideline documents and other templates for internal useEdit graphics and photos using pixel or bitmap editing, airbrushing, masking, or image retouchingLiaising with advertising agencies and other partners to co-ordinate production as requiredCheck proofs at all stages and make necessary corrections, maintaining contact with all involved parties to sign offBalance studio production workload to ensure smooth throughput of jobs to meet deadlinesTo be able to step into this new role, we're looking for: A passion to convey our brand through graphic designMinimum 2+ years graphic design experience, preferably in retail or similar fast-paced industryIndustry-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects on a Mac and Microsoft environment, as well as competency in MS Word and PowerPointExperience in utilising Apple Mac operating systems to produce print ready materialA creative thinker who enjoys working collaborativelyA portfolio of work that showcases your highly creative and imaginative style, with an eye for detail and dedication to accuracyStrong organisational skills with an ability to plan and track multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlinesThis is an opportunity to make your mark within an iconic Kiwi company.
