Our client, a highly respected organisation, provides funding support to a wide range of non-profit groups, charities, welfare agencies, and cultural and educational organisations.
Among the many beneficiaries of their funding are the Coast Guard Service, Starship Foundation, Canteen and St. Johns.
The Role: As the Grants Manager , you'll be part of a passionate, dedicated team based in Epsom, helping to manage grant funding that directly supports community programs.
This is an important role within the Foundation and is responsible for the management of the Grant function, ensuring funds are used for the right purpose and in the right way.
This key role involves managing grant applications, overseeing compliance, working with grant recipients, reporting, and supporting an outstanding Grants and Audit team.

Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to) Review of Grant applications to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and legislative requirements.
Assist the Grants Administration and Auditing team, providing support and expertise as needed.
Gain full understanding of Grant eligibility requirements and processes and share knowledge with others.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the Net Proceeds Committee and other key stakeholders.
Engage with the community: Visit grant recipients and their projects as required.
Liaise with recipients, providing guidance on the application process.
Manage the review process of grant applications in conjunction with the grants committee.
Prepare monthly reporting on all key grant issues, focusing on key activities, costs and risk analysis (Proficiency in Excel is required for this).
Preparation of the monthly schedule, ensuring all applicable applications are prepared correctly.
Manage Grant Results processing and checking of final monthly schedule.
About You: We are looking for someone with… Previous experience in grants management or similar fields such as client management, or fundraising.
Strong financial, numerical and analytical skills.
Meticulous attention to detail, to ensure that every application meets legal, financial, and organizational criteria.
Precise reporting, budgeting, and adherence to guidelines.
Ability to articulate complex information, both verbally and in writing, to various stakeholders.
Personable and empathetic, able to engage effectively with different people, and maintain positive, constructive relationships.
Enjoys a blend of office based and face to face customer contact.
Predominantly office based.
A strong aptitude for administration.
Confident systems use.
MS Office Suite, including Excel.
Strong people and customer service orientation.
Results oriented.
Is organised and an effective planner.
Works well to deadlines.
