What we're looking for We're seeking a Graduate / Junior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team and be responsible for critical daily and monthly financial accounting and month end activities. Duties will include Accounts Payables, Receivables, Customer finance queries, Payroll preparation, and other administrative support as required to empower the business to deliver and excel on financial and strategic business objectives.

This role is an excellent development opportunity for an individual comfortable with the administrative side of accounting but with the appetite and drive to grow their commercial accounting experience.

What does the job involve? Supporting key Financial Accounting activities including: Bank reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Card Management, Fixed Assets, Billing, Payroll preparation, Analysis & Budgeting, etc. Supporting Tax & Statutory compliance (GST, FBT, audits, etc). Stakeholder Relationship Management. What you'll bring: Tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with Xero is highly desirable Progress in CA qualification is advantageous Adept at multitasking, time-management and prioritization skills Strong written and oral communication Problem-solving aptitude and analytical mindset What you'll get: A competitive salary and additional benefits such as birthday leave, health, life and trauma insurance, income protection.
